Abstract
A healthy 70-year-old male initially presented with an irrepa-rable full-thickness rotator cuff tear treated with a left reverse shoulder arthroplasty (RSA). 3 weeks later a traumatic fall caused a glenoid fracture. This was treated with surgical revision of his RSA and glenoid open reduction and internal fixation. No overt infection was observed, but cultures grew extended-spectrum beta-lactamase (ESBL) Klebsiella pneumoniae
