Abstract

For the COIL assignment, students worked in international teams of four to identify an existing problem in both the U.S. and Japanese health care systems, develop a PICOT (Population of concern, Intervention or interest, Comparison, Outcome, and Timeframe) question, and formulate an evidence-based solution to address the existing health care challenge.
