However, participants who were currently receiving psychotherapy began the workshop with lower coping self-efficacy than peers with no prior psychotherapy and saw larger gains in coping self-efficacy at follow-up. Results suggest that regardless of whether a student has previously received psychotherapy, they may benefit from brief, group transdiagnostic interventions.
