Avaliação do Risco Biopsicossocial dos Trabalhadores em Ambiente Hospitalar
Introduction Health professionals are daily exposed to a set of demands that are often unpredictable and, consequently, have direct implications for their physical and mental health. These demands can come not only from users and family members, but also from working hours and conditions, which are difficult to control or change. According to the World Health Organization, chronic stress in the workplace leads to Burnout Syndrome. In this line of thought, one of the main concerns of Cantanhede’s Arcebispo João Crisóstomo Hospital is to seek and guarantee the general well-being of its employees and to make efforts to ensure a high level of this well-being. Objectives The main objective of this evaluation is to understand the Cantanhede’s Arcebispo João Crisóstomo Hospital health professionals’ levels of Anxiety, Depression and Burnout. Methodology Self-response instruments were used, such as the Anxiety, Depression and Stress Scale (EADS-42) and the Copenhagen Burnout Inventory (CBI) Questionnaire.
