Large-scale sensor networks may be used for applications spanning several domains including military, medical, industrial, and home networks. In order to constrain communication overhead, large-scale sensor networks call for new and highly efficient methods for distributing queries to nodes that have observed interesting events in the network. In this paper, we present a heuristic secure routing on the diameter (SRD). It provides scalable and efficient data delivery from the source node to the destination node with low overhead.
