Describes the main results of the using of high-precision dosing unit (dispenser) VDU-65 for filling upper block (UB) “Breeze-M” of the rocket “Angara-A5”. Dispenser VDU-65 is designed to measure the mass flow of the components of rocket fuels with an accuracy of ± 0,2 % in the range from 500 to 999 999 kg at flow rates of 3,5– 24 m 3 /h. High dosing accuracy is ensured by using the algorithm of measurement as the calibration characteristics of the individual dependence of the Strouhal number on Reynolds number Sh ( Re ) , as well as correction of the density and viscosity of the components.
