To cover the shortage, we introduce a new feature which describes a people crowd as a whole. Because pedestrian behaviors change when the degree of crowdedness varies, we can capture motion information to model a crowd and characterize the pedestrian behaviors based on statistic analysis. Afterwards we combine together the two kinds of features presented above as the final people counting feature. 摘要

本文提出了一种新的视觉监控场景中的人员计数方法。以往的方法所采用的特征都是在像素级或基于局部区域进行提取,受遮挡等因素的影响较大。为了弥补这个不足,我们引入了一个新功能,将人群作为一个整体来描述。由于行人的行为随拥挤程度的变化而变化,我们可以捕捉运动信息来建立人群模型,并基于统计分析来表征行人的行为。之后,我们将上述两种特征组合在一起,作为最终的人数统计特征。在实际场景中进行的实验证明了该方法的优越性。
