In face of the shortcomings of the existing infrared thermal imager in power inspection, an intelligent power infrared inspection device based on edge computing is developed. The problems found in the substation temperature measurement are analyzed. In order to find out the problems and predict the defects in time, the prediction for the substation equipment is carried out through the edge calculation.
