This system can detect attack traffic and then redirect the traffic to the system itself. 摘要

DDoS攻击是在线服务存在的安全问题之一。由于TCP/IP协议固有的问题,目前的防御机制非常薄弱。本文主要研究了路由器的过载保护机制。利用物理拓扑进行仿真,提出了一种能够防止分布式拒绝服务(DDoS)攻击的旁路守护系统(BGS)。该系统可以检测到攻击流量,然后将流量重定向到系统本身。同时,BGS还可以监控流量、过滤重定向、代理服务器等。

A novel approach in securing DDoS attack
The DDoS attack is one of the existing security problems of online service. The current defense mechanism is very weak, because of the inherent TCP/IP protocol problems. This paper focuses on the overload protection mechanism for Router.
