As a result of the analysis it was revealed that substantive verbalization of this concept prevails in fairytale discourse in both languages. The study showed that the concept “art” in English texts occurs 8 times more frequently than the concept «искусство» in the texts of the Russian fairytales. The concept “iskusstvo” / “art” in fairytale discourse in both linguocultures is connected with competitiveness, victory and success.
