ANALISIS FARMER’S SHARE PETANI JAGUNG DI DESA MONGGUPO KECAMATAN ATINGGOLA KABUPATEN GORONTALO UTARA

The research objective are: 1) to find out the marketing channel of corn in Monggupo Village, Atinggola Subdistrict, Gorontalo Utara Regency, and 2) to find out amount of farmer’s share received by corn farmers in Monggupo Village, Atinggola Subdistrict, Gorontalo Utara Regency. The research has been conducted in Monggupo Village, Atinggola Subdistrict, Gorontalo Utara Regency, from January to March 2021. Method applied in this research is a survey by conducting observation and intreview. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and farmer’s share analysis. The research findings indicate that : 1) the marketing channels of corn in monggupo Village are two where the cnhannel I is: farmes- wholesaler-inter island and the channel II is : farmer-collector merchant channel I for 79.04%, whereas the highest value of farmaer”s share is in the marketing II for 61.90%. therefore, in accordance with decision principle, the marketing channel I is efficient due to the value is more than 70%, and the marketing channel II is efficient due to the value is less than 70%.
