Significant improvements could be achieved with such technology: easier system installation, weight and cost savings, … But as environmental conditions are quite different in aeronautics, a deep study has been launched to assess the performances of this new physical layer and especially regarding electromagnetic environment. A focus is given here for conducted emissions, conducted immunity and crosstalk. Many combinations of lengths, transceivers and lighting protections were assessed during measurements.
