This research is included in descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The stages of this research are the Preparation Stage, Research Implementation, and Final Stage. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Serang City. Data collection techniques using interview instruments, and tests. Interviews were used to determine the initial state and students' abilities. The test is used to determine the increase in students' understanding ability using codular-assisted e-modules on smartphones. Based on the research, it was found that there was an increase in students' abilities, namely 0.57 which was included in the medium category. As for the indicators of the ability to understand mathematical concepts, the highest increase among the seven indicators is based on the n-gain results from the initial and final tests, namely indicator 5, which presents concepts in various forms of mathematical representation. Meanwhile, the indicator that has an increase in the moderate category which is lower than the other indicators is indicator 2, which is to classify objects according to certain characteristics. 摘要
