Based on the huge advantages of free space Optical (FSO) communication technology, this paper summarizes the research status of vehicle FSO communication under the 5G evolution background, by integrating satellite, air, ground and underwater communications into a unified wireless network through unmanned vehicle platforms, the research progress of \"space, earth and sea integration\" optical transmission link is built to realize fast, stable and large-capacity data transmission system.
