The proposed IQBC is synthesized by interleaving two quadratic boost converters (QBC) to obtain a two phase QBC. The voltage gain of the proposed IQBC is enhanced by using a voltage lift capacitor. Since the switches employed in the proposed IQBC are operated with a phase-shift of 180°, the input current is free from ripples. Experimental results obtained from a 24V to 380V, 100W prototype converter validate the proposed gain extension and design concepts.
