By using the multi-level inverter we will get the advantage of low harmonic distortion, less number of switches to achieve the multi-level output over the traditional inverter with less switching losses. With respect to improve power factor, we need to compensate the Reactive power and overcome the total harmonic distortion (THD) drawn from Nonlinear Load. We will come up with Level Shift Pulse Width Modulation (LSPWM) technique to control the switches of Inverter And for the generation of reference current for DSTATCOM we will use P-Q theory.
