In today's competitive market, enterprises change their business processes frequently. Changes in BPEL process may affect the quality of BPEL process for the consumer. It is desirable to measure and evaluate the BPEL process quality when changes occur. Metrics are vastly used to provide a quantitative measure for the quality. In this paper, BPEL Process Usefulness Metric under Evolution (BUME) is proposed to measure quality of a BPEL process when it evolves.
