摘要

网络语音协议(VoIP)是发展最快的互联网应用之一。本文重点研究了802.11x无线局域网对VoIP的支持。提出了一种基于无线局域网的VoIP多路复用方案。802.11x WLAN可以支持超过500个VoIP会话,但是由于包含了大量的过头,使用GSM 6.10编解码器标准,这个比例只有很少的VoIP会话。本文通过比较802.11a、802.11b和802.11g三种标准以及CBR和VBR话音源,证明了VoIP标准802.11g是最好的。这已经通过使用无线局域网的多播模式的特性进行了讨论,通过该特性可以减少VoIP的大量开销效应。本文给出了基于多路组播方案的仿真和计算,通过该方案可以增加VoIP会话数,并确定了CBR和VBR源的最佳VoIP标准。
