Then a new CD algorithm using hybrid bounding box is presented based on the principal characteristics that complex virtual environment has many objects. This algorithm can reduce the time complexity from o(n2) to o(n) by using the relationship of time and geometry between the frame and the frame, and it can reasonably control the detection depth for different applications to quicken the detection rate by introducing the conception of depth of the tree.
