This paper presents an analysis of the ways of organizing maintenance and repair of utilities’ high-voltage equipment as a possible tool for extending its lifetime. Within this study, such methods of organizing maintenance and repair, as time to failure, preventive maintenance and on-condition repairs were considered, as well as approaches to their selection and justification at various electric power enterprises. Also, within this study, the authors made an analysis of implementing energy enterprise management based on plant assets management systems as decision support systems, where the model of equipment maintenance and repair is the basis for its implementation.
