The proposed antenna consists of two inverted L-shaped slots and a V-shaped slots etched in a trapezoid shaped monopole attached to a CPW feed line. The antenna operates in the 2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz WLAN bands and 3.5/5.5 GHz WiMAX bands and has a compact size of 21×24 mm2. In addition, the proposed antenna achieves good radiation pattern and stable gain over the specified bands.
