Manufacturing sector has been reported to be one of the main causes of pollution, thus, government introduces several policies and incentives to urge green operations various industry. The main objective of this study is to identify factors that has positive effect towards green manufacturing performance of automobile industry. Based on the underlying technological, organisational, environmental (TOE) theory, a culture and human capital domain has been added into the theory to have a comprehensive view on external and internal factors. By extensive literature review of green practices within automotive industry, ten factors were identified and categorized accordingly. Results of the study is expected to be essential for Malaysia automobile industry to implement green manufacturing operations more effectively and efficiently.
