ABOUT THE SITUATION IN THE MODERN EDUCATION SYSTEM IN RUSSIA AND THE PLACE OF PHILOSOPHY IN IT

The article examines the situation in the modern education system in Russia, which arose as the result of reforms that began in the 90s of the twentieth century. It is noted that the reform of the education system should not turn into an end in itself, that it is necessary to understand what result the reform of the Russian education system is aimed at. The problem of the place and importance of philosophy in the education system, as well as the position of philosophy as an academic subject in higher education is also raised in the article.
