A rotation matrix based on recurrence formula along with observer feedback matrix set for a particular frequency is used to formulate a structure such that accurate estimation is obtained for the designed frequency. This observer is used to filter out the switching noise percolating into the control loop by providing ripple free feedback variables in d-q control. Also this helps in achieving faster transient response in current control.
