The selection of only documents interesting a user is done on the basis of interest center, calculated from the information about the user named user profile. The information retrieval systems converge towards a semantic representation of the user profiles. In contrast, it does not take into account the semantic links in defining the center of interest. So, we used a graphical representation of the user profile based on a domain ontology.
