Study on virtual cathode oscillations by using finite difference time domain particle-in-cell codes
We use FDTD PIC codes to simulation virtual cathode oscillators and employ three analytical models and an empirical estimation to determine the corresponding frequencies of oscillations to help understand the vircator.
