The open loop system is stabilized using the pole placement method. For this generalized stable system the simple generalized predictive control algorithm is got which can guarantee the closed loop stability. It reduces the heavy computational load as used in conventional prediction techniques. It has one parameter with certain sense and is easy to implement. It can deal with the unstable and nonminimum phase systems with time delay.
