Based on this, an embedded real-time environmental data collecting system is proposed. The contributions of the paper are as follows: we have designed an embedded environmental data collector which supports three collecting modes; we have proposed a novel integration technique for heterogeneous monitoring devices and an adaptive internetworking approach.
