However, in the presence of sand-clay aggregate cryogenic processes develop in them, which has a negative impact on engineering structures functioning. The research aims in assessing the heaving hazard of coarse soils with different percentages of the sand-clay aggregate. Such soils were field-tested in Zabaikalsky Krai.
