摘要

提出了一种用于高速公路售票系统监控的快速车牌定位算法。该方法可分为垂直边缘检测、边缘密度图生成、二值化与扩展、车牌定位四个部分。该算法能够快速准确地检测出车牌的区域。在实验数据库中,从478幅图像中成功检测出459幅。车牌定位的平均准确率为96.00%。一幅彩色图像的平均处理时间约为100毫秒。
