Visible harmonic generation in CMOS-compatible integrated photonic devices
We observe continuous-wave second- and third-harmonic generation in silicon nitride ring resonators pumped in the C-band. The enhancement of the ring allows pump powers as low as 3 mW to generate detectable outputs.
