“A vida invisível”: por entre cartas, corpos de mulheres e processos de subjetivação
This article explores female invisibilities by means of mails exchaged between two public university teachers. It is an aesthetic activity mediated by the notion of "self writing", proposed by Michel Foucault and by the film "The invisible life" by Karim Ainouz, script by Murilo Hauser; in which image, time, and movement happen through letters. Therefore, we used letters, as well as Guida’s writings for Euridice, in the referred film, in order to situate the reader about their importance in the trajectories of research on gender and sexuality as well as their close connection with the studies of subjectivity production. Its problematic – ethical, esthetic and political – articulates visual arts, gender relations, sexualities and education, as it resonates the correspondence between the two teachers with that of the character, thus highlighting the struggles waged by women in the disinvisibilization process.
