Tellurite microstructured fibers for broadband supercontinuum generation
Microstructured fibers for mid-infrared supercontinuum generation are developed using tellurite glasses. We demonstrate low threshold single-mode supercontinuum generation by using a nanowire with long suspended struts under the pump of a picosecond fiber laser.
