Towards a Home Application Server
The emergence of smart devices, especially in the home context, will change the way we interact with our environment. However, implementing and maintaining home-control applications is still far from easy. This paper discusses the difficulties encountered during the development of a home gateway. It then introduces a framework that sets the basics of a home application server and allows an easy development of home applications.
