VIVÊNCIA E PRÁTICAS AGROECOLÓGICAS: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA EM ASSISTÊNCIA TÉCNICA E EXTENSÃO RURAL EM MUNICÍPIOS DO RECÔNCAVO BAIANO

Agroecology is a multidisciplinary science, whose principles provide the construction of ecologicallybased farming styles, focused on the development of sustainable rural developmentstrategies. In this context, the objective is to report the experience of the agroecological experiencesand practices in technical assistance and rural extension (ATER), presenting the realityof the family farmers in the rural communities of the Municipalities of the Reconcavo of Bahia tostrengthen family farming. The experience in agroecological practices was carried out betweenOctober 2016 and January 2017, promoted by the Association of Cooperatives to Supportthe Family Economy - ASCOOB, in partnership with the Federal University of Reconcavo daBahia - UFRB, developed and operated in the area Of Technical Assistance and Rural Extension(ATER), in Municipalities of the Reconcavo of Bahia. The experience was divided in threedistinct stages, the first one being a qualification in the specific areas of the stage. Coveringfrom the history, mission, vision, affiliated cooperatives, area of activity of the cooperative andactivities to be developed during the internship period. Then socialization with farmers and, finally, the monitoring of technical assistance and rural extension to farmers. However, the technicalagent at ATER plays a very important role for the farmers in the process of public calls,opening the way for the promotion of rural development and family agriculture.
