The Series Active Filter is Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR), which regulates the voltage at the point of common coupling with minimum VA loading. The Shunt Active Filter is Distribution Static Compensator (DSTATCOM) which compensates the reactive power and eliminates the load current harmonics from the source current.
