For periodontal treatment to be successful, it is necessary to remove the pathogenic biofilm through scaling and root planning. Currently, the use of proteins derived from the enamel matrix can be associated with periodontal therapy, promoting a better result. The aim of this study was to report a case of periodontal treatment combining scaling and root planning, antibiotic therapy, and enamel matrix derivatives.
