Every technique can only represent a limited number of users and are prone to errors. Hence, the intention is to combine two modulation techniques: M-ary amplitude modulation technique and the phase-shift keying method such that the number of users can be as many as the product of that which could be accommodated by the modulation techniques each used individually. Wireless energy harvesting happens to be a promising technique for the future.
