Hence, this paper aims to examine the relationships among environmental training, environmental behavior of employee and environmental orientation of organization and the mediating effect of environmental behavior of employee on the relationship between environmental training and environmental orientation of organization. In order to achieve the study objectives, primary data were collected from 108 employees of a leading apparel company which is operating in Batticaloa and Polonnnaruwa areas of Sri Lanka. The simple mediation analysis was used to test the research model. Findings of the study revealed that, there are positive and significant relationships existing among the study variables. Moreover, empirical finding of the study indicated that environmental behavior of employee does not mediate the relationship between environmental training and environmental orientation of organization. The empirical finding of the study contradicted with what was hypothesized in the study. 摘要

以往的研究很少考察环境培训、员工环境行为和组织环境取向之间的关系。此外,大多数研究忽略了员工环境行为在组织环境培训与环境取向关系中的中介作用。因此,本文旨在考察环境培训、员工环境行为与组织环境取向之间的关系,以及员工环境行为在环境培训与组织环境取向之间的中介作用。为了实现研究目标,从一家领先的服装公司的108名员工中收集了主要数据,该公司在斯里兰卡的Batticaloa和Polonnnaruwa地区开展业务。采用简单中介分析对研究模型进行检验。研究结果表明,研究变量之间存在显著的正相关关系。此外,本研究的实证结果表明,员工的环境行为并没有中介组织环境培训与环境取向之间的关系。本研究的实证结果与本研究的假设相矛盾。因此,需要进一步的实证研究来检验和证明员工环境行为的中介作用。
