It is possible to consider the photovoltaic system technology (PV) as a feasible alternative, having na affordable price system due to the abundance of sunlight in the Brazilian northeast, besides contributing to reduce the emission of greenhouse effect gases. The use of solar energy PV has a meaningful potential that meets the rising demand electrical energy of this region. Thus, the purpose of this study is to evaluate technically and economically the use of photovoltaic energy (PV) in a gridconnected dwelling in Reriutaba, Ceará.
