Hence, growing attention has been paid to periocular recognition methods, on the performance levels they are able to achieve, and on the correlation of the responses given by other. This work overviews the most relevant research works in the scope of periocular recognition: summarizes the developed methods, and enumerates the current issues, providing a comparative overview.
