With most universities switching to online methods of teaching in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, this article outlines how to perform the transformer tests for undergraduate electric machines classes using Simulink. The aim is present the virtual experiments whose results lead to determination of the approximate per-phase equivalent circuit model of a three-phase power transformer.
