At present, there are two main types of crude oil water content testing methods: manual testing and dynamic testing, and dynamic testing can be divided into two types: contact and non-contact measurement. Existing crude oil water content detection techniques, detection principles and advantages and disadvantages are introduced, and the latest developments in water content detection technology are mentioned, such as combining elements from other fields to improve the accuracy or online performance of water content detection.
