The result reveals that the level of Korean pre-service biology teachers’ understanding of natural selection were similar with Chinese undergraduates’ understanding and significantly lower than American and German undergraduates.’ In the first year student data, the level of genetics concept of Korean pre-service biology teachers were significantly lower than Chinese and German students. In the fourth year student data, the level of ecology concept of Korean pre-service biology teachers were significantly lower than American and German students. 摘要

自然选择是职前生物教师解决各种生物问题需要理解的进化论核心思想。本研究旨在通过比较韩国职前生物教师与中国、美国和德国生物学专业本科教师对自然选择的理解程度,探讨韩国职前生物教师对自然选择的理解水平。本研究特别关注自然选择的两个概念组成部分(即生态学和遗传学)。本研究共使用了1226名职前生物教师和生物专业学生的数据。测量自然选择概念理解程度的工具是《自然选择概念量表》,该量表由10个生态学概念项目和10个遗传学概念项目组成。采用Rasch模型分析、多变量方差分析和单变量方差分析进行统计检验。结果发现,韩国职前生物教师对自然选择的理解水平与中国本科生相近,显著低于美国和德国本科生。在第一年的学生数据中,韩国职前生物教师的遗传学概念水平明显低于中国和德国学生。在四年级学生数据中,韩国职前生物教师的生态概念水平显著低于美国和德国学生。在此基础上,对生态观念教育和平衡自然选择观念教育进行了探讨。
