The full implementation of the RIS is designed to introduce River Information Services in a wider area compared with the pilot implementation and to develop the scope of provided services. The works are to be based on the base of technologies checked in the pilot implementation, including conclusions which will allow in particular to increase the ergonomics of the system. The provision of information services that will make it possible to increase safety on inland waterways and will significantly increase the level of access and harmonization of navigation information.
