The presence of multiple transmitter antennas and multiple receiver antennas allows for spatial coding and spatial decoding of signals together with spatial interference cancellation. The efficiency of transmit-receive spatial diversity is investigated as a function of the spatial correlation in the MIMO channel and interference correlation on the receiver site.
