The proposed instrument may be rather quickly transformed from an absorption spectrometer to an emission one. Multi-functionality of proposed solution allows one to benefit from the strong features of different spectroscopic techniques depending on the goals of performed spectroscopic study. The emission spectroscopy techniques may be applied to reach the highest sensitivity or allow studying of non-stationary objects with a segmented chirped-pulse mode.
