This paper presents a robust controller design for WEC system using Genetic Algorithm (GA) tuned Fractional Order Controller (FOC). The main contribution in this paper is the design of Fractional order PI controller using Genetic algorithm, implementation using MATLAB/ SIMULINK and performance comparisons. Here the performance of Fractional Order PI Controller is compared with PI controller.
