The impact of the degree of asymmetric on the frequency response and its quality factor within the microwave frequency regime has been studied. The results have been shown that the resonance frequency and quality factor of asymmetric single circular split ring resonator are strongly depended on the relations between the gap orientation and the electric field direction.
