High PAPR can degrade the efficiency of high-power amplifier and is one of the major disadvantages of OFDM systems. This paper proposes a modified ABC-SLM scheme to further improve the PAPR reduction performance of ABC-SLM scheme. The proposed method, called GA-ABC-SLM, is combined the gene algorithm (GA) with the artificial bee colony-based SLM scheme.
